The final result does somewhat hide what a good performance our swimmers produced.  Although we finished in sixth place two early disqualifications in events that we ‘won’ cost us in effect 16 points and three places. Nineteen times were the best of the three rounds.

On the night Joshua Holland set a new 100 Butterfly Club Record at 1.00.24, just outside the ‘magic minute’.  It is only a matter of time before he achieves this milestone.

9 individual PBs were recorded plus 10 best relay splits. 17 swims were under the CCT and 2 CQTs were achieved.

I would like to thank all of the swimmers past and present for the fantastic memories that I take away.  Thanks to all poolside that have helped out in my tenure and I hope Manuela enjoys the support and camaraderie of the club going forwards.
