Saturday 11th November 2017, Woodside, Watford
Thank you once again to all the swimmers that were able to attend and their efforts. Congratulations also to Jack Blake on receiving Teddy.
I will be in touch very shortly regarding Round 3 on Saturday 9th December and just before that, the Portch Gala at Ware which is to be held on Sunday 3rd December.
“ A much more solid performance than in Round 1. Despite struggling to field a 13 and under girls team we recorded faster times in 35 of the 50 events than in R1 at Borehamwood. The team should be congratulated on this effort and a 6th place finish and a lot closer to Stevenage than in R1.
On the night there were 12 individual PBs together with another 25 best relay splits. 2 quicker RQTs for Joshua Holland in the 100m Butterfly and 100m Breaststroke. 4 CQTs and 12 consideration times were posted. Hopefully a first CQT to Katie Gorman in the 50 Free in the lead off leg of the relay ( this needs to be ratified by Arena League and HASA).
Teddy to Jack Blake in his first Arena Gala.
